  1. Fairly easy. Which engine?

Hi, thanks for answering - the Vitara was tongue in cheek or just cheek but I do have one, rubbish compared to the Freelander, which is the Adventurer with 2L BMW engine 2005.

    Thanks Hugh

  2. hi, would like to first say this is a good forum! can any one help me with a work shop manual for 2005 td4 workshop manual (not A haynes !) thanks.

Hi simon, nothing to do with cars - I spent a lot of time in Beverley, knew a really nice girl called Joyce Murphy, we all spent a lot of time in Cornwall. I live in Scottish Borders though so it's all a long way away but your post brought it all back.

    Hugh

  3. ........... had to downsize from my Vitara 2L 3 door deisel, used to have the 16 petrol - how I miss that car.

But for all you old hands a serious question - how easy is it to service the Freelander? My mechanics are probably as good as most gifted amatures.

    Hugh
