I stay away from yellow cordless brands I'm a Panasonic man when it comes to cordless. IMHO better build quality and better batteries than other I've (mis)used.
I've got this. Nice 3 in 1 combo for my use. Good batteries. But maybe a bit slow for drilling, but ok for self tapping (in metal) screws.
My brother had this at work. He was very pleased, better than the Hitachi he had before.

The kit was a nice replacement for my old one, just remember to read the instructions before you start, not after.

Check out ebay.com, I bought from a guy called themidwestmustang, and paid about $ 65, including coilpacks and shipping to New Jersey. And another £ 30 for shipping and taxes to Norway. And just to make some more confusion about currencies, thats about 800 norwegian kroner alltogether.

I will go down the same EDIS route myself in a couple of weeks years, and this looks like the right way to go regarding plug leads, but was it costly? under £100?

There was a stand at the LRO show at malvern selling RRC/Disco arches rather like the D4x4/Rangie spares ones except these ones where flexible, more like the material that 90/110 arches are made from. They had one on display that was twisted through 180 °. IIRC they where about £150 a set. Sorry can't remember the name of the company selling them But if yo have a show guide they where opposite Rebel Replicas.
It might be these you are thinking of.
