  1. Ive got a 4" spring lift, and a 2" body. With 305/75/16 grizzly claws on deep eight spokes. I did have insa turbos special track on standard alloys, i needed to adjust the steering lock as they catch on the radius arms due to the standard offset wheels. They were fantastic in mud but not to good on rock. But good for what you pay for them. If you put 265 insas or bigger on you will need to cut your arches there is a good guide in the tech archive.

  2. Sorry to throw the cat amongst the pigeons so to speak, but aren't any air sprung vehicle that has been converted to coils illegal?

Removing the self levelling means that the headlights can not be adjusted for varying loads. I was under the impression that this was illegal! Any comments?

HA, keep your cat thats rubbish.

  3. Hi and welcome JayDeeV8

That is an earth cable which should be attached to the bonnet fixing bolts. The other end is attached to the back of the engine block.

I think that earth belongs on the back of the head, the one for the bonnet is on the uther side.

  4. Hello, yet again its soon upon us and ill be there again. The thing is ive been going for a few years now but ive never camped till now. I know one lot is two adults and two children or three adults. Can any one tell me how much space each lot is, can i fit two landys on it? as we are three adults with different cars. Thanks Dave

  5. I personally think ABS is fantastic off road as you can stop all be it slowly, unlike non ABS which will just skid. I think engine braking is normally sufficient all though it is a little hi geared compared to a manual. But gentle on the brake keeps it under control.

  6. I had the same problem, after a rebore and complete rebuild. In the end I found it was flooding, and ended up controling the fuel by taking the fuel pump fuse out and in and out and in at the right time, until it fired. It took me about a week of killing batterys to get it fired mind. Yes you can get the dizzy 180 out with no1 at TDC but like someone has said if both valves are closed on no1 then its right. Oh nice job on the engine.
