[Inhibit spare engine]

I have acquired a spare engine at a modest price and want to store it for future use. Top tips for inhibiting please so that bores etc stay dry and corrosion free.

Hi everybody

ive just bought a truck cab ready to do my truck cab conversion so next month i will be swapping the hard top for a truck cab when i start it i will post some pocs up and then when thats done i can start on the rear tub ally chequer plated hinged cover but that will be put on a new thread.

[Gear oil on pads]

In the end of the axle tube there should be a seal - part number 217400.

If the oil is inside the brake drum, then it will also be the hub oil seal - part number RTC3510

Just bought a Series IIIa , and when taking the drums off to examine brakes imagine our suprise to see them contaminated with gear oil. Stripped everything back to the axle end and no sign of any seals in the end of the axle surely there should be. Both sides the same Any thoughts/comments would be gratefully received.
