has any one out there changed the fuel pipe cluster on a disco td5
and can it be done with the tank on ???.

It does sound like a fuel pump issue, I agree. The symptoms do sound like my own fuel pump issues. Is the pipework all OK between the tank and the engine? I know it's a sod to get at, but maybe you need another look at the fuel pump? Did you do the pump yourself? Maybe worth another look, as this seems to be the root of the problem? My local independant warned me of not using LR OEM pumps - said they created problems...?
was reading your reply there again was wondering did you replace your pump as well and did you do anything else

i had a similar problem with mine, sounds simple but try looking at your fuel filter lol

replaced fuel filter made no difference boo hoo.

yes i did fit the pump it wasnt to hard to do what do you mean by OEM pump thanks.

posted a wee while ago about my td5 2004not running properly,have put new fuel pump in about 8 months ago since then seems to have a flat spot at pulling away hot or cold,have changed fuel presure reg valve,maf,injector wiring loom,fuel filter,waste gate sensor,have had it at 2 landrover garages none of them can find a fault.in pulling awya after about 4 or 5 secs it then goes like the clappers thank you.

At a rough guess i would say it needs a new mech.....the locking mech is all part of the same unit and is about £75 from LR
yes it was a new lock thanks for the help£69.00 from landrover.

my central locking is not opening the front passenger door off the key fob,only when i openit from the door handle on the inside it opens but will close on the key fob, any help plz please.

check fuel regulator and oil in the red socket of the ecu! common faults mate!
guy at garage checked red plug clean check the fuel pressure says it was ok otherwise how would i check fuel reg thx

fisrt off hello all 2003 td5 disco fitted new pump about 5 months ago since then has had a loss of power more when you pick away,it will only rev to about 1000 through all the gears and then boom goes like f**k had it on 2 sets of diagnostics no faults tried maf no diifference although was a factory copy.driving me crazy plz help thx

thanks les thats what i will do i did already view your topic but thanks for the link as i look out my window my new garage is under construction,so a think that will be the first job.at 4 mtrs wide and 7 long it will be just the place .
