..and he passed, two advisories, corroded brake ferrules and pulling to left on hard braking... easily fixed. MOT in hand, off to PO, got my FREE road tax. Now on the road, first thing to sort, smokey exhaust... don't they all smoke?

Across to MOT garage, stressful couple of hours... would the level of smoke from the 48 year old diesel be acceptable, are the brakes up to scratch...?

Got carried away, just bought a Series 2a, quick strip of wheels to sort brakes, changed a few bulbs, power wash muck out and ready for MOT.

MOT passed again, nearly 13 months 'til it expires. Need to do something with the boot floor, I can see light ... at least the water runs out. (New floor in garage, just needs fitting)

MOT passed, wagon taxed and on road.. yippeee
