  1. Hoping someone might have a magic wand......

I am pulling my hair out trying to find either a pair of Rear Inner Wheel Arches complete or repair panels for my 4 door 1991 RRC. I thought I had struck gold at MM 4x4 as they had a pair advertised, however after ordering they called to say no longer available!!!

Any thoughts as to where I might get a pair or does any one have some ideas on fabricating a repair panel? Mine have rusted through at the usual place where the rear seat belt mounts are.

Rimmer bros have ones for the 2 door RRC, does any one have any experience of making the 2 door ones fit a 4 door shell?

Many thanks in advance for your thoughts/help.

  2. Just worked out that the constant puddle in my boot is coming from rain getting through the seal at the bottom of the heated rear window glass between the glass and the frame.

I have tried sealing it using domestic stuff from homebase but it is not up to the job.

Any thoughts? Should I get autoglass or similar in to do it or can anyone recommend some effective sealant?

    Thanks

    Ben

  3. Or there's Stuart Gilbert in Sittingbourne/Faversham 01795 843116.

I've not actually used him yet, but he was really helpful on the phone when I was looking for a P38 and he's been recommended on here before.

I'm just outside Rochester, PM me if you want.

    Cheers

    Mark

Thanks for the tip Mark... what RR do you have? (P.S. I had a rather nice late 2001 P38 which I had a midlife crisis with and added huge sports exhaust system etc..... before I was poor and had to settle for a classic!!!)

  4. Hi,

I am a new member with a 91 3.9 Classic which I may have bought with 'rose tinted glasses'. I think I have done this *rse about face but could really do with some help assessing whether I can save this old girl. Does anyone know someone in the Kent area who could help me, either a garage (I am willing to pay) or a friendly 'expert' or fellow owner who could give me some support/advice.....

    Here's hoping
