[Pairing a two button remote on Tdi Defender 1996 Model]

Does anyone know how to pair the 2 button remote on a Defender Tdi 300 - 1996 model? I have searched the blogs but nothing has come up on the topic. I'm sure you guys are tired of all the stupid questions, but us newbies need some help. Thanks.

[300 Tdi wiring circuits]

The wiring colours on this diagram do not math my Defender TDi 90 - 1996 Model. I had a problem with the front and rear left hand side lamps and the wire colour was red and black and not Red and orange as indicated on the above schematic. Maybe I misread the diagram. I am still new at this..
