Hi,
it was all done prior to purchase, i've just finished putting the EGR back on.
It does do small journeys however!
Anymore thoughts as the MOT station recons it was well off the required standard!

My 2002 TD5 has just failed the MOT on its emmissions. The EGR has been removed and it has had an ECU remap!
Any thoughts so I can rectify and return it for a pass?

I have had a MIB xmember fitted to my TD5, fantastic product with fantastic service, they turned me around in a day, It fitted straight on with no alterations and it came with extensions!

Is there any chance you could explain why the panhard bushes?
When it starts to pull left it requires a fair bit of steering right to counter it!

Hi again,
My TD5 90 has been pulling left intermittently when I brake, i've replaced front discs and pads and rear pads and stripped out the calipers. No change! The ABS appears intermittent to!
Any thoughts and advice?

Having asked around this crossmember is the only one for the TD5 manufactured with sleeves.
I've got mine booked in so will report on the findings, they have accomodated me so far in agreeing to turn it around in a day.
As mine is totally shot i'm looking forward to getting it fitted.

I am shortly looking at having my td5 rear crossmember replaced with a MIB components part and may be considering having it done at their sister company as they are just down the road, does anyone have an opinion on both the part and their sister company. All signs so far have been very positive.

A newbies first post so go easy,
I've just found on my 2002 td5 Defender that I have a leak between the main body tub and the panel for the van side on the nearside rear corner, does anyone have advice on how I cant sort the leak out and what with?
I've just got the defender bug so am totally new to Land Rovers.

Cheers fella,
Followed all your advice and then gave it a proper ragging, drove it straight onto the ramp and it walked it! EGR coming back off tomorrow weather permitting!
