Nearest postcode to this site is PE8 6PA. Please could you make sure that you take the Kinscliffe Road not Yarwell. Go past Yarwell turning and follow road until turning into Kingscliffe follow road and first turn left to quarry (that is if you take first turn into Wansford) if you take the last turn into Wansford first turn right Kingscliffe. Hopefully this will become apparent once you get close to the site, basically the locals get funny about us going through the village!!!
See you soon.

Just spoken to the Hotel and they have said that it is essential that you book in advance if you wish to stay in the hotel. He also informed me that there is a "FOAM" party in the onsite night club on the Saturday night which I know you will all love!!!!
-
Well it looks like round 4 is going to have to be postponed until after round 6, as there isn't, hasn't been a weekend available since I had to cancel Uplands Coppice. Sorry about this but there just doesn't seem to be enough time to fit everything in!!!
So Clyro Court will in effect be round 4, this is taking place on 2nd September so only a few weeks until this round.
I know that some of you have been to this site before and although I haven't I have heard it is a very good site. There is a hotel on site which has single, double, multishare rooms and dormitories from £22 per night, which includes a full english breakfast. The hotel number if you wish to book is 01497 820033.
If you are planning on entering round 4 plaese call me on 07836 713677 asap.
Look forward to hearing from you.

Couple of things i need to tell you regarding the series;
SITE CHANGE-due to a communication breakdown the challenge that is to be held on 2 September 2012 will no longer be at Coney Green farm. The new site for this date is Clyro Court in Hereford. Paul has competed on this site before and it is a very good site. It also has a hotel on site with affordable accommodation. Camping is also available and campers are allowed to use the showers and swimming pool within the hotel. Please make a note of this change I will put info regarding the hotel up nearer the time.
4 OUT OF 6- After a lot of discussion we have decided to make the championship the best 4 scores out of 6 rather than 5 as previous years. The reason for this is that our series is quite well spread out over the country and due to the fact that we have introduced another class we have opened it up to a lot more potential competitors. So those of you who live nearer the southern locations can choose not to compete in the more northern events and vice versa and still remain competitive. Obviously if you choose to do all six rounds then that is great, the more the merrier!!!
If you have any questions regarding either of these changes please call me.
Thanks
Lucy

What's the worst damage you've ever done to your LR?
in Competing in Land Rovers
Posted
Thanks Dan...I felt the same at the time, mainly tho because I wasn't able to carry on with the race!!
It wasn't as bad as it looked though, the front end was due for the chop anyway so not toooo bothered, I've just started work on the re-furb of it & the rear chassis legs just behind the fuel tank have tweaked down a bit but nothing that can't be fairly easily straightened, new roll cage, new extended A frame & fingers crossed she'll be ready for Muddy Truckers!!
