[Rare Td5 electrical problem]

Hi, has anyone come across this electrical problem before?

With the ignition switched OFF I turn the headlights on and push the brake or put it into reverse, and the ignition turns itself on without the key! I've removed the reverse light fuse and this solves the problem but the battery light flashes instead of turning the ignition on.

I removed all the bulbs from the rear or the landy but it still happens, so it's not a dodgy bulb. Has anyone got any ideas??

I had a custom side exit exhaust done by long life and I'm very happy with it. Make sure they keep the pipe work high enough mine dips in the middle a little bit where the middle box was.

[Driving the Strata Florida and surounding lanes]

Yes don't worry I'll be travelling with a few other landys, I'm organising this trip for my local club and everyone on the trip will be confident and sensible drivers. I am using memory map on my laptop so I'll be plotting the route and others before hand. The trip won't be till April but I know it's Wales so normal weather patterns don't apply! If you have recommendations on other lanes that would be brilliant.

Hello everyone, I'm planning a weekend of lanes in Wales and driving the Strata Florida is top of the list! I've never driven it before so would like a bit of advise and info on it please. Also any recomendations on surounding lanes or any that would be worth driving on the same weekend would be great.

[2" spring spacers questions]

Hi all, my disco has a 2" suspension lift on it at the moment and im running 235/85 tyres. I have plenty of room under the arches but wouldn't mind a little more. I've looked at body lifts but dont fancy all the work involved right this minute, so spring spacers seem the next best thing. I was going to go for the 2" spacers which would give me a 4" lift in total, I have already replaced propshafts to wide angled ones and the radius arms and trailing arms to cranked ones. Just wanted to see if anyone had problems with this before or any pointers? Thanks alot, Joe.
