I can guarentee it won't have it now! Don't forget BHP Figures usually are taken from the flywheel - It's got the Transfer box, 2 props and the boots to get through before it actually gets to the tarmac.
Oh definately that is why I asked about when it came out the factory!

If both vehicles have a current MOT, then there's no need for a retention certificate (£80 and then another £80 per year after wards), and you get an age-related plate for your truck. If your reg isn't in demand, then it might not be worth the hassle. The DVLA may want to inspect your truck as well, which means taking it to get the ID checked, or they come round and do it (not sure if there's a charge for this though).

This is a 3.5 V8 Injection Disco, 1991, Anyone know what HP it rolled out the factory with?

Yeah, the Plate is private, I don't know how/what is involved to get it off the vehicle, does it go onto a retention certificate?

Bah, surely, as this is electronics, is it software controlled?
Build in a loop that increases the acceleration each time, little by little, record the acceleration speed and then when you get the highest reading... keeeep IT!

As for the Disco!I'll have a check, I did a search but couldn't find anything similar on here for sale, so hence this post!

Whats the foot tourque from? Was it not the 3.9's that were less powered?
