Had full width intercooler and fuel pump tweak by GEMM4x4 this week. My 300tdi is transformed. Thats just with a 2.5, God knows what it would be like with a 2.8. I would definitely make that your first performance tune.

New baby arriving means that the load bay of my 110 Hard Top needs something more substantial for a child seat than side facing benches. Has anyone fitted these "new" seats from Exmoor Trim?

Apparently they can be fitted without dropping the 110 fuel tank (unlike the old ones). Has anyone got the fitting instructions for these so I can see whats involved?

[burning smell]

I know this is a complete stab in the dark,

I can smell since this morning, a very acrid burning type of smell around the frot grill area on my 06 3 door freelander TD4,

but can see anyhting...to be honest Im not up on any mechanics on cars,

does anyone have any guesses on what it might be. it smells a bit like rubber or plastic burning, it doesnt seem to be coming from the main engine but around the front of the grill,

My good ladys's Freelander was doing exactly the same last week. Burning rubber smell coming from front of car, noticable mostly whilst stopping in traffic. Was being caused by offside brake caliper piston binding. After a drive compare the heat coming from front wheels, if one is radiating heat or wheel hot to touch, then its that.

Have managed a few trips out on the SLROC monthly greenlane trips (private land). Apart from that not found anything around Edinburgh (I'm in Inverleith).
