HI

I am upgrading the brakes on my series one with a later master cylinder but I am buggered if I can remember which is the inlet and which is the outlet port cylinder is part no 90569128

Could someone please tell me is the inlet from the remote resevoir at the opposite end to the plunger or the one sat half way along the top?

What I dont get is the numbering on the switch

Clockwise using the pic on the right it goes clockwise left top no 5 and 4 together (only one spade) no3 ,no 2 (two spades one number) and no1 bottom left

I cant match this to any info in the other posts.

I have a Lucas 157sa or qrf100880 ignition switch for my 90 which is different to my old one

The wires I have are Red/Brown,Brown,White,White and Black and White and Red

Could any one tell me what goes where ?

Could anyone tell me the size or part number of the two small bolts which are on the A frame ball joint fulcrum carrier type thing please they look m8 size but not sure of the thread

[10 OR 24 SPLINE ??]

The discovery axles on my 90 are starting to show signs of wear in the diff - bearings etc

The axle is a 10 spline.

I am thinking of upgrading to a 24 spline later set up.

Is this a popular upgrade ?

Any thoughts from your goodselves greatly appreciated thanks

Prefix / Suffix decodes as below.

34L C = F.AXLE DIESEL RHS NON ABS NON VENTED DISCOVERY

Can't say what VIN range it would relate to though, sorry.

axle number is on later vehicles made up of letter/number shaped dot punch marks, wire brush/damp rag should make it visiblt, look above the horizontal weld line on the front of the axle tubes.

As far as i can see the axle number is 34L 47907 C

Could anybody tell me which vin numbers this would equate to .

I have a defender with Discovery running gear.

I want to buy a swivel kit to refurb the front axle but there are many combinations,I have wire brushed the axles in search of numbers but to no avail

Is there any way of identifying the axles visually?There is a large disc type "thing" attatched to the underneath/side of the diff.

Yep... will fit... roof design is still the same as a 1984 truck cab, bar the headlining.

Ideally you also want the brackets that go onto the bulkhead behind the front seats, or you'll have nothing to bolt the truck cab to.

I have recently bought two door bottoms for my 90 part numbers ALR6262 AND ALR6263.

I am looking for the part numbers for the locks/ handles ,I have tried series ones but these dont fit,it looks as though my rear end door lock would fit but these are not handed

Could someone please put me out of my misery!!!!!!!
