Stevo22
Hi everyone, I've just bought my first Range Rover and really enjoying it so far. I have a quick question I hope someone can help with regarding driving on the continent. On previous cars I have been used to sticking on "beam benders" to adjust the headlight beams for driving on the other side of the road, but I noticed that there are no location marks on my Range Rover's headlights (2003 model). I asked my local dealer and one of their engineers said you have to remove the lens cover and flip a lever to adjust the beams for European driving. He said complete instructions were in the handbook, but I've read it cover to cover and can't find any mention of this. I've also looked at the headlights and it doesn't look like anything comes off without lots of unbolting. If anyone can shed any light (no pun intended) on this I'd be grateful as taking the car to France in a few weeks. Many thanks Steve
steve_d
On one of my other cars the whole bulb holder rotates in the back of the headlight reflector. You release two screws a few turns, rotate the bulb holder until it stops then re-tighten the screws. Perhaps this is a similar arrangement and may give a clue where to look.
