sgnhis
Could use some advise on replacing the front rotors/pads on wife's 05' LR3. Have preformed dozens of brake repair on all types of vehicle but never a LR3. Are there any special tools, procedures, etc? Any help would be greatly appreciated! cipx2
Apart from the usual tools (17 mm spanner, 13 mm socket, something to push back the pistons, thread locking compound, ...) you'll need a 21mm bi-hexagonal socket (or double hex or 12 point socket, I'm not sure how you name them in US, see picture below), a breaker bar and a torque wrench (if you want to do it by the book - 270 Nm for the bolts that will give you a hard time getting them out ). No special procedures on the front (the rear need more special attention on the EPB).
