ashtray
At speeds above 40mph i get a strong, almost violent steering wheel shake when hitting any slight bump in the road. Its got so bad that i cant stay at the speed limit on motorways. Its a 300tdi disco 97'. it had a procomp steering damper fitted approx 6000 miles ago along with all new ball joints and rear track bar. I have checked the sttering damper bushes and they are ok and there is no oil leaking from the damper. Its also recently had both front wheel bearings replaced so there is no play there. i cant feel any play in the entire steering system. should i be adjusting the swivel pins next? if so is there an easy method of doing it. i have the correct newton meter to check the force required to move the swivel housing. Thanks
