ukdiscoInIreland Posted November 12, 2012 Share Posted November 12, 2012 Hi all, i usually get any help i need by searching past posts but this one has me stumped.I had to replace a broken starter motor which went fine for a day or 2 but then a clinking sound which turned out to be part of the old starter motor(prob bearing or 2 and what looks like 2 halfs of the bearing cover). to cut a long story short, engine and box apart now and crankshaft sensor being replaced as it got mangled, on checking rest of inside to see what other damage may have been done i have noticed one pin? only way i can describe it is missing off the drive/flex plate.Should be four and they look like something to do with pickup maybe by the sensor. Wil try to load pics for you to see. ? what are they and are they crucial or should i just put it all back together and hope for the best, thanks for looking and i hope one of you would be kind enough to point me in the right direction, thanks, tony Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
