Workshop security

Most of the people that target workshops are so "tooled up" that nothing will stop them, Before i put all my gear in my workshop, i went out and brought the best hasps, an absolute fortune on 3 very large good padlocks, bolted all the fixings through the doors and welded up the nuts, Yale alarm, 3 flood lights, thought that will stop them!

4 weeks later i got broken in to, they could not force the hasps and staples off the doors, but cut the paddlocks open like a knife through butter!

cut the alarm, smashed all the outside lights, the dammage they caused was shocking, and bearing in mind only 50 yrds away from the house! we heard nothing, all at 12.30am, and lost about 4 grands worth of kit!

a girl down the road saw a red pick up outside at that time, and i have been told by the police who came to look at it, that the gang are going in armed!

What Bl***y Chance do you stand!

If i could give one peice of advice, GET INSURANCE!!!!!

And its true the more security you put on, the more tempting it is to wonder what you got inside.
