heres what i was talking about mate, front belts.. i slackened one of, you can see what its hiding.. these look like have past a few mots, are they a fail when bolts tight?

where the belt runs from the pillar down to floor and bolts in, just to the rear of front seat? at the moment, theres a plate with a captive nut covering a hole, soon as i started to loosen the bolt the plate started spining to show the hole/carpet interested to see what its ment to look like, ill get a picture cheers

if anyone has time, could you please post a picture how the front seatbelt mount on the floor should originally look like on a 93 disco one

am in two minds at the moment were to sell or keep the disco.. its a 1993 200 tdi, 190,000 miles, grey in colour. its had a fair bit of welding in the past by previous owners, sills, boot floor, and other bits and bobs main mot problems will be welding ( pictures in previous post) and today i noticed were the front seat belts mount to the floor they are bolted to a plate not welded to floor, that covers maybe a previous mount position shes alittle smokey, mostly when first started, bluish smoke, i think its from the turbo? mot till 11/11 taxed till 30/12

The rear near side brake light on my 93 disco one works when it wants to, the indicator on the same side is the same. Are these common faults, any ideas ?

Posts still not showing Am just outside Edinburgh The boot floor has been done before, it's had sills and some other bits and bobs over the years, part from the pictures it looks solid

if i click pictures they still show, dam... mines has had floor pannels, sills done before by previous owners, not sure why those parts were left.. after seeing your pictures am now expecting to find more rot then first thought there was..

thanks mate, for some reason its not showing your images, something to do with band width.. are they a mot fail, i am going to teach myself to weld, i probaly dont have enough time for mot

Hi new member, looking for help with first disco, I have a 93 200 tdi disco with 187000 miles, when first started it runs on 3 then as it warms up it runs on 4, when first started its normarly putting out white smoke then once warmed up dont really see it. If i hold the revs at 1500 rpm it puts out blue smoke, same if am driving around at about low revs/mph at times, see blue smoke So far ive replaced air filter oil filter oil fuel filter cleaned sedimentor changed glow plugs last night, only one out four were working, the inside of one came away from glow plug housing when trying to remove.. ( still to see if it makes much difference on start up ) ive tryed some injector cleaner, a few bottles now lol, hasnt helped Disco seems to pull ok, will do over 80 mph on a private road. Any helps appreciated, cheers
