Does any body know what the gap should be between the centre of the wheel and the arch on a standard disco 1?

My disco 1 has started to droop at the rear, about 13 months ago i fitted britpart gas shocks and standard hight HD springs to it.
Hight from centre of the front wheels to arch is 51cm,
NSR is 52 cm
OSR is 48 cm
Phoned the place where i got the shocks and springs and he recomended fitting britpart +40mm spring to the rear. Would that sort out the sag at the rear and would they fit with my standard shocks

What else can go wrong with this disco. Took it out for a drive for the first time since fitting gearbox and clutch, Its now got what feels like a misfire , it was fine before the layshaft snapped at the end of january.
Any ideas where to look now for this as nothing was touched in the engine bay.
also having probs with the diflock lever it will lock the dif but wont unlock it?
its a 95 3.9 v8 disco
any help would be good as iam at the end of my Tether with this disco

Turned out i had the clutch plate in the wrong way round
new clutch i have been supplied is way to small and the supplier is saying its the only one listed for it.
Its an LR009366 if anybody knows what it fits

would it need bled as the slave cylinder was just tucked away, as to the clutch plate could be wrong way round, would it damage it if it was?.

finaly got every thin back together , DAM THING wont engage gears with engine running, push towards 1st gear and it creeps forward.
switch engine of or put t/box in neutral it engages all gears.
ARRRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGG
realy need some help with this now as its due its mot very soon.

yep its an r380, acording to factors valvoline say dextron11, £30 for 3 litres at dealers (ouch) it get to be then. now got to wait on the rain going off as the disco is in a puddle.

turns out the clutch was out of alignment, realigned it an the box slid on .
What oil would you recomend for box as local factors say dextron11 ,dealers say mtf94 at double the price of factors.

Car lost reverse tonight just when it was needed lol,also 5th has gone to.
still drives ok in other gears.
If you put in reverse and let it roll backwords down hill, lift clutch it locks up,
Any help would be great

Hi my 95 disco failed it mot today on
offside front axle king pin has excessive play in pin / or bush adversely
affecting the steering.
is this easy to fix and also need a small plate welded to the chassis.
any help would be great as have no transport
Turned out the fuel return pipe han a kink in it from being cut short at the split, new return pipe and dry and clean the plugs, now running a1 again.

the car ran fine until i fixed the leak in the return pipe.
when starting it stalls first time, then on second attempt it will idle very erratic going from 0rpm to 1000rpm .
the car still drives and pulls fine after a while it settles down, until you stop it and start it again.
only thing that was touched was the return pipe at the tank.
hi, my 95 disco v8 started leaking petrol last night.
turned out to be the fuel return pipe had been joined and had split at the join under the boot floor.
fixed it this afternoon ,now when i start it the revs go from 1000rpm to 0 and any where in between.
as it didnt do this before any one got any ideas

Hi, jacked up front end today, No rumbles or roughness when spining the wheels.
Also minimal movement when shaking the wheels.
Drivers side wheel when giving a sudden spin gives a clunk?.
Also has two split boots on the ball joints on the bar thingy at the front.
Looks like iam driving the cinquecento for the time being lol.
