Hi,
I have just joined the forum as I'm seeking advice for a problem with my 1991 Defender 90. It's a 2.5 NA Diesel with the LT77 box.
The speedo has stopped working completely, I disconnected it at the transfer case and on turning the cable the speedo and trip meter work, so I reconnected it and it worked for 50 yards then stopped, took it apart again, it still works by hand but won't function otherwise.
As the cable and speedo appear to be OK what could be causing the problem?.
