6 days after buying a 30k mile 3 year old from a main dealer, its gone back to fix a transmission failure. They gave me a Peugeot 308 to drive around in all week. What have I done?

Took delivery of my first Land Rover last Saturday. A 3 year old HSE. Always liked them. Worried about reliability. 6 days in, about 250 miles driven and Transmission Fault message appears and here I am sat in my Dealer while they are looking at it. Something about Diff Oil Pump fail and I'm going home in an elderly Peugeot they're lending me till mine's fixed! I want my old Nissan back. 4 years, 80k miles and no aggro
