  1. Hi all, I've been searching the forum for a step by step guide to flushing my gear box but i'm not a whizz with the pc. I'm sure its been covered before but cant find it. could someone point me in the right direction please......
  2. Hi lewwe I had a similar problem with my 00 2.5 DSE automatic but just switching off the engine and back on cleared the fault. After a couple of weeks of this I couldn't get any gear at all, it turned out it was the XYZ switch. Picked up a replacement one for €60 job done.

  4. Hi David and thanks for the prompt reply. I had the jeep diagnosed as having the start of injection sensor gone. From your reply I can see that I have been wrongly informed of the location of the sensor. I downloaded rave to my pc and on the same night picked up a virus. I haven't got round to wiping the laptop yet so I'm held to getting on here for education for which I am greatful. Can you please tell me if I can get the injector with the added senor or can I get the sensor separate and just change it out? As always Tia.
  5. Hi Lads and lasses could someone confirm for me that the start of injection sensor is or is not inside the fuel pump on my 00 P38. I've a second hand pump lined up for 100 I just need to be sure the sensor is actually internal before I go about stripping. I'll buy the pump anyway but if I can replace the sensor without ripping out the pump I'll be a happy camper. Tia.

  11. Evening lads and lasses as title says my selector has gone mad. Recently whilst shifting from D to R gear box fault would show on my fault reader, putting the selector to D at this point would result in the vehicle being stuck in 3rd gear, however simply knocking her off and restarting from P would reset all and it might not happen again for days. As mentioned earlier it's now doing all sorts. Showing me on the selector it's in R when it's actually in 2nd. Any suggestions greatly appreciated.

  13. Hi all i'm in need of the pick up pipe from the valve body/gear box, i'm in the midlands in ireland but distance is no problem and the item is so small and light posting is an option too. Its a casualty from my VC failing and my front prop going all AWOL on me. The vehicle in question is my '00 P38 i've tried the usual breakers and findmypart but no luck, for those of you who might have one but dont realise its what i'm after ive attached a pic, its the little yellow pipe attached to the filter on the left in the pic. Yours hopefully. Pep.
