Thanks for all the advice. Much appreciated. I did get half a turn out of the bolt on the sump nearest the weep, and I'll definately put some silicone on. I'm learning early that there are probably many such 'joys' to come.

Greetings from a recent acquirer of my first RR - a 2002 HSE 4.6. I've noticed oil beading from one point on the sump gasket - not enough to drip, but just trail across the sump slightly. Should I be worried? Are they known to blow? I know Land Rovers are notoriously leaky so maybe it's just part and parcel of owning one? Any guidance much appreciated.
