thansk for the replys guys, its raining now so getting stuck in is less appealing..... its a 1993 200tdi (2.5isnt it?) i have checked the master cylinder and it still has some fluid in.
i will have a good route around but if either of you have the haynes manual diagram of where the pipes are that would be great!
thanks again,
Mark
Hi,
im sure this is a simple problem to fix but i am stuck!
driving through Banya (in Bulgaria) i changed from 2nd to third quite leisurely and the clutch just sank straight to the floor! so the car could not engage gear.....
with a bit of jigging and getting my poor lady to push us up to 1st gear speed i managed to get us home the 'no clutch gear change' way.... which was noisy at times. if you cant find it grind it.
so i hope this is just a fluid leak but i have some fluid left in the master cylinder reserve.... as i dont have any diagrams of what im doing, does anyone have any ideas on what it might be? Where the cables/pipes run and any previous experience?
many thanks!
Mark
