  1. HI! Thanks for all the info guys, it was jsut the master cylnder - some old seals - so a new one rectified the problem! thought id let you all know..... not a complete nightmare! Mark
  2. mine with the WORST tyres ever but still managing to get places! All terrains on the way....
  3. thansk for the replys guys, its raining now so getting stuck in is less appealing..... its a 1993 200tdi (2.5isnt it?) i have checked the master cylinder and it still has some fluid in. i will have a good route around but if either of you have the haynes manual diagram of where the pipes are that would be great! thanks again, Mark
  4. Hi, im sure this is a simple problem to fix but i am stuck! driving through Banya (in Bulgaria) i changed from 2nd to third quite leisurely and the clutch just sank straight to the floor! so the car could not engage gear..... with a bit of jigging and getting my poor lady to push us up to 1st gear speed i managed to get us home the 'no clutch gear change' way.... which was noisy at times. if you cant find it grind it. so i hope this is just a fluid leak but i have some fluid left in the master cylinder reserve.... as i dont have any diagrams of what im doing, does anyone have any ideas on what it might be? Where the cables/pipes run and any previous experience? many thanks! Mark
