  1. the usual assortment of old english hammers and spanners.

    anythin large and expensive such as an engine lift, i just hire it for the weekend.

    a manual winch can be used for lifting too. providing your beam is high enough!

    a mig welder is a very nice bit of kit for the shed.

    get some more hammers.

    a large pry bar, some cold chisels and an extra hammer.

  2. 90's arrived in mid 84, so it may well have sat in a dealers for a while or been registered with a cherised reg for it's first years then been subject to a transfer & given a '86 D reg number.

    afaik its not possible to have a reg number allocated to make the vehicle appear younger. its highly unlikely to have been given a D reg if it was first registered in 1984.

    Any seat cover manufacturer recommended?

    Discovery II,in dark metallic green (sorry don't remember the colour name).

    He's looking for beige seat covers,front + rear.

    Original are too $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$.

    Hints welcome.
