nearly finished wiring my defender up but i can't see where one of the reverse light wires goes. i know that the one of the wires from the switch goes to the rear chassis harness which in turn goes to the reverse light.
the only wires i've got left are a light green wire and a light blue wire behind the dash inside both have a female bullet connector and there are two wires which have male bullets one light blue and one light green both have white tags on the wire. does that make sense? perhaps i'll take a couple of photos later when i'm home. any help would be appreciated
If it helps you should have green wire from fuse box, ie somewhere behind dash to reverse lamp switch, then green/brown from switch to reversing lamp

Many thanks, will ring around to try & find FRC7948. Maybe Land Rover used the same connecting link on early 90's as on the LT85.
Your efforts appreciated

Thanks for the reply, its the cast type. THe broken part is made from round material and fits to the bottom of the main pivot lever (not shown on the drawing)

Any one know the part numbers for diifflock linkage on lt77/lt230 combination. 'Bent rod' between main pivot link down side of gearboxand quadrant on selector shaft in transfer box has broken so I need to find one.

I have a pair of Ford Scorpio, full leather and electrics - Well they would have electrics if I had wired them up

i tried one from Machine Mart, but it was too small, a mate with a lathe made one in ten minutes
