  1. i tried one from Machine Mart, but it was too small, a mate with a lathe made one in ten minutes
  2. If it helps you should have green wire from fuse box, ie somewhere behind dash to reverse lamp switch, then green/brown from switch to reversing lamp
  3. Diesel Jim, it has legs at 90 degrees, thanks anyway Ed80inch, local main dealer is checking availability, if no joy then I bend & drill some bar
  4. Thanks Simon, £8.10 plus VAT - a bargain for a piece of bent 6mm rod!!!! Jim Wyllie
  5. Many thanks, will ring around to try & find FRC7948. Maybe Land Rover used the same connecting link on early 90's as on the LT85. Your efforts appreciated
  6. Thanks Western, you have the right part, but my gearbox is pre 1987, my connecting link has the legs at 90 degrees - see photo I think I've put the photo on twice, its my first attempt
  7. Thanks for the reply, its the cast type. THe broken part is made from round material and fits to the bottom of the main pivot lever (not shown on the drawing)
  8. Any one know the part numbers for diifflock linkage on lt77/lt230 combination. 'Bent rod' between main pivot link down side of gearboxand quadrant on selector shaft in transfer box has broken so I need to find one.
  9. I have a pair of Ford Scorpio, full leather and electrics - Well they would have electrics if I had wired them up
