Thanks Gents for your replies. But I think in both cases the linkage shown is the same as I have already which pulls from the left hand side. See photo. Somebody has just told me that the one I'm looking for may come off a 3.5 fitted with the flapper valve.

The attached photo shows the linkage fitted to an MG RV8 which I believe comes from a Land Rover. I am trying to source the same linkage for my MGB V8 but first I need to know what model of Land Rover it was fitted to so that I can track on down. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
