Hope someone can help me. I have a 2003 TD5 90XS which has the heated front screen fitted as standard, but I can't make it work. Windows, heated seats and rear screen all work.
When I press the switch (latching type) nothing happens, there is no click or red light. I have tried switching the relays round with a known to be good relay, I have checked the fuse and I have checked there is power to the heated circuit at the relay.
I have had the switch out but I can't really work out which terminal should have power or not. It appear that there are 4 wires connected to the terminals, 1,2,4 and 5 nothing to terminal 3, which should I be check with the meter? Also should I be looking elsewhere?
I have found some information on the internet but everything seems to be about retro fitting a heated screen and stuff about fitting a timer.
Any help appreciated.
