Yes, the sheer effort of fitting a full audio system was putting me off, when it was never designed for this (and I turned this 110 into a full pop-top camper) so this is a compromise.

I wanted music in my LR 110 Hardtop 1998 Camper and was looking at the effort and cost to fit a MUD centre console (or DIN for smaller units), wiring it in and adding somewhere to mount the speakers, plus it would be nice to be able to move it and reuse anywhere I wanted, anyway I had the idea of using an Anker Soundcore Motion Boom, so I designed and 3D printed a simple bracket, mounted that to the dash to hang the speaker on, the rubber feet rest on the parcel shelf top. Job done, easy and I can unhang and store in my lock-box in seconds. I connect my phone and play anything with surprising quality, you can link 2 of these together wirelessly and I am going to hang another in the back for even better sound. I should add that I have soundproofed my LR fully with Kilmat and fitted thick rubber carpet from http://www.wrightoffroad.com/ / stuck 4 way stretch van lining to the roof and walls, so it's fairly quiet for a LR.
