Hazards flash when I indicate right

Hi everyone, I just recently bought a 1997 Defender. The side lights & indicators have been upgraded to LED’s. I’ve noticed that when I indicate right, the hazards come on! There’s no issue with the left. Any suggestions why this is? Thanks!
