  1. Thanks to everyone for responding and keep the comments coming. Yes, I excel in a lack of knowledge (50% of the time I am 100% right). Hopefully as stated the adults can pass on wisdom while providing adult supervision... I'm shipping it from Europe in the spring to Tennessee (retirement, I hope). This week it is new timing belt, seals and gaskets, and u-joints.
  2. Hello all. Just an introduction post from a new member and relatively new Land Rover owner; in northern Italy now and (importing vehicle) to United States next summer. Loved the look, feel, history and adventure associated with Land Rovers since childhood (lots of excitement with little knowledge...). Became the proud owner of a 1988 Defender 110 about 10 months ago (yes, I know - technically an Land Rover 110 without Defender name). Have done a lot of work on it so far and have plenty more work ahead of course. The vehicle is solid and getting better daily! Thanks for the welcome and looking forward to learning from everyone.
