Hi. I just collected a converted pulse ambulance. The vehicle has been converted to 12v electrics.
On the drive home I noticed a small amount of condensation on the glass of the water temperature gauge. I went to wipe it off and in doing so noted that the bezel of the gauge was very hot. It was raining and I had the headlights and wipers on.
I continued to monitor the temperature of the gauge and noted that when the lights were turned off the gauge cooled right back down.
Anyone got a clue as to the cause? The actual gauge was hot not the water temp.
