  1. Hi All I am new to both this forum and Land rovers. I recently bought a 2001 TD5 110 and have started fixing her up. Have done a lot of suspension work, have also removed and re sealed and bearing'd the gear and transfer box. This vehicle has a issue though at low RPM, it sounds almost like a miss fire when accelerating but goes away once RPM picks up. At idle she runs fine too, now i have heard many diagnosis from various people like the pump timing could be out. That doesn't make sense because then it would idle badly (Normally anyway, like I say I'm new to landy) Although i noticed my air intake pipe is perished and the woven flex on the exhaust is leaking slightly. Could this possibly cause the problem?
