  1. I have seen it and repaired twice before of the seals, on other people's cars but it has never crossed my mind of my truck going down that path. How naive of me. Well the fuel rail must be lifted when doing the valley pan gasket, so another task to add. Replace those seals.
  2. thanks again guys, after nearly 1000 miles with the new map, engine seems more responsive as judged by the lead foot on the right side pedal (he,he). curious of the strong exhaust fumes, I plugged my autologic and looked at exhaust output, left oxygen sensor is switching normally staying as close zero as possible and reacting to demand. right side not so great, at idle it stays at zero with out switching. out of Idle, it maxes out at +22 mv and stays there until it returns to idle. I had a set of new oxygen sensors which I installed, performed Ecu reset by disconnecting battery for 1/2 a day and symptoms continued nearly identical upon re-start. I have checked for false air / vacuum leaks, exhaust leaks, misfires and all seems ok, I learned my valley pan end seals are leaking oil, so it is planned to be addressed as weather permits, I have not checked for fuel injector leaks or other injector performance issues, have not checked spark plug performance or condition, it is also in the plans of near future. Once I am in the valley I plan to install a new camshaft with lifters / tappets and possible new injectors, I have set for a Bosh engine which seem to fit 14Cux / Gems. opinions and suggestions on sensor performance discrepancy please. thanks, Carlos.
  3. Useful and good to learn. From a 1 week visit to land rover factory back in 2001, I developed the impresiĆ³n that europe had higher octane.
  4. loaded and tested map on a 400 mile round trip, over all the engine has performed in a "relaxed" manner, idles well, pulls well at just about any rpm range, I did not take the cable needed to read the EFI and specially oxygen sensors to see how it runs and by happenstance my center muffler broke at the rear output pipe. this last happening makes for the exhaust fumes to enter cab area when window down, thus gives the impression it it running a bit rich. the Chart provided by fridge has 12 columns while mine has only 10, so I had to make a judgement on how to expand. I am sure I left room for improvement but can't pint point exactly where to improve. I forgot to mention on original post that our fuel in the US is rather low on octane grade. it starts at 87 and ends at 93 "RON", due to regular "87" being the cheapest at $3.50 a gallon versus premium "93" being $5.50 a gallon , I am using regular fuel on an auto box. LPG is not widely used in the us as is in other parts of the wordl. please continue to advise, I continue to be very grateful for your assistance. Thanks . Carlos. Ps . don't know why image loaded sideways, I apologize.
  5. thank you very much gentlemen, I have just returned home from a trip, and found your replies and suggestions. it is 8 pm friday night and have taken a few moments to create and load suggested settings, will not be driving vehicle until saturday afternoon and into the night. will report over the weekend. Carlos
  6. Good day from the east coast of the USA. My name is Carlos, I am a retired Land Rover factory certified technician. I own a 95 Range Rover Classic with a 4.6 and factory 4.2 cam on 14cux EFI, normally aspirated and otherwise stock. retrofitted with megajolt, using bosh P38 coils and ignition wires from davis unified ignition, bosh 2 electrode platinum spark plugs gapped to .060 per coil manufacturer instructions. load is based on TPS, when I ordered MJ, I was not given a Map option. the files included in the install CD, made my engine very sluggish across the performance. with out much tuning experience ( I have always worked on mechanical upgrades not electronic), I adjusted the chart to fit my engine needs but there is potential. Could somenone please review and suggest / make necessary changes. all assistance is very much welcome and appreciated
