thanks fellas, going to seal up expansion btl overflow, and leave pressure release up to btl cap. again, is fairey overdrive only option for 4 spd box, cant seem to find any other to suit. cheers for caterpillar tip, im off to amazon, ta. ILL BE BACK.

gday folks, hoping for some advice on my 1978 rrc. she has a perkins 4236 3.8cc. reconditioned, smooth+sweet. 4 spd box also recon, no overdrive, hence first question. best and least grief way of increasing cruising speed. is fairey od only option? at present cooling system has dodgy expansion bottle that seems to empty itself when engine warms up, should system be pressurised? squeez a hose, and a jet squirts out the overflow. cant seem to find any source for owners handbook/workshop manual for the 4236 , lots for other models, any similar enough to use? thanks in advance.
