this week i need to panel off my front wings, sort out all my hydraulics (winches are currently just bolted on with no pipes, ropes etc) and a load of other small bits n bobs.

was out yesterday testing the engine to see if it got hot with the rad in the back.

  2. quad bike on portals... or a gator on portals... or just a gator with 6 wheels and two massive winches front and rear. no water issues at all, and no sinking issues.

  4. Well done to all involved.

Massive thanks to Philon and his family for the bbq on saturday night! Also thank you to rent a party, round the back of my trailor saturday night! :P;)

A good day's racing. Car worked amazingly, Completing all 40 punches! Co-driver amazing as usual (I even let him have regular mars bar and red bull breaks)

Centre winch priceless and top housing on the rear winch makes it a totaly different vehicle.

As you can see in the scores very good driving by all the teams and the novice and intimediate drivers are getting round the sites well! :D

Only damage to report so far...

2 x bent rock slider tubes!

    1 x sticker missing!

1 x Peeved off employee having to wash the car :D

  5. What A weekend!

Was slightly worried walking the course on the saturday, I had enough of a challenge staying on my feet so i thought sunday was going to be a day full of 'upside dan' but to my pleasant surprised it wasn't me doing the rolls! Very good punches!, an eye openning experiance to find out what the car is capable of! the new arrangment of weight has worked well, and all those hours in the work shop have paid off. So chuffed to bits with the result (will swap trophys for first I mean third next month) Full credit has to go to Paul Church, True professional!

Also TOR4x4 supplied some parts which I wasn't carrying due to using them the weekend before, cheers Adrian. I always seem to break the same things!

As always thanks to Neil and all the guys involved in setting up the weekend! Also to Jimbo from GP4x4 for sponsoring the event / spit pig roast.

Bring on North Wales! oh just get another 2 comps out the way first.

Well done to everyone for surviving the weekend.

Look forward to seeing all the pictures, of the very obscure angles we were driving at!

  6. you will need to work out the weights etc.. you will be carrying on the vehicle front and rear them the suspension set up to match i.e light, medium or heavy duty. If your vehicle is going to be carrying alot of weight while abroad then not alot in the uk, you might have to go for assister springs or 2 different spring ratings to change between the 2 depending on weight carried.
