  2. hi there , can anyone help me ? i am looking for a straight through type exhaust ie from the cat to back box for my rrc soft dash 3.9 auto . is this a possibility? mot man says my exhaust isnt up to scratch down pipes and cats are fine , but i would like a little more rumble than the standard all help appreciated

  6. found it , its on the right hand side next to the peddles , i switched the wipers on and listened for the click will try tommorow in the day light
  7. hi , i actually changed the switch over from my freelander one , the problem was still in the range rover . the rrc switch worked fine when put on the freelander. do you know where the relay is? its a soft dash rr regards fraser
  8. hi can anyone help , my front wiper blades wont return to the start position when in intermited wipe , they stick at the top and there is a noise through the radio . they work fine on the full and fast settings but not on the intermited. has anyone had this problem? regards fraser

  13. hi , just had crunchie to see the inspector the chassis that is on it was a new one so apparently it takes the identity of the one that was on it when new the chassis itself is a pukka bit of work made by a well known chassis builder north of the border the engine and vin plate mached up too and its not a tax exempt vehicle the dvla like to have a look at the ocasional car when private reg's are changed over , mines probably because i sorned it during the changeover a friend of a friend also had to take his car for an inspection due to a reg swap aparently if you wait between 3 to 6 months of sorning it , it is a straight swap over , so ive been told if i get a chance i will post up some pictures of the chassis thank for all the replies fraser

  16. hi , can anyone tell me what happens to the identity of a landrover when the chassis is changed over. i own a hybrid that i put a private number on , it went on without any problems , but now that i have tried to change it over to my range rover i have had a letter from the dvla asking to me to bring it to my local vosa for them to inspect it . the chassis on the hybrid isnt a landrover chassis but one made of box section steel any help would be great thanks fraser
  17. hi , is it possible to reprogram my 94 rrc key fob to work the central locking? i recently bought my first rrc , and with it came a "black box" that was to be fitted. i changed it over and it sorted out the central locking ok , but now it wont lock with the key fob . sorry for the "black box" discription as i dont know the technical name for it , its situated under the glove compartment very close to the iner wing , it had 2 plugs and an arial type connection on it any help would be great thanks fraser

  19. hi , its not the strips , but the whole piece thats rotten. they fix on the underside of the shell and the flaps fix on to them . i asume that they stop water etc from splashing up when driving . they measure roughly 8x8 inches thanks fraser
  20. hi , can any one tell me the name of the parts that the mudflaps on the back of my 94 rrc are held on with? ive just noticed that they are about rotten with the rust mites thanks fraser
  21. hi , thanks for the advice everyone i might have changed my mind now , the seats that ive got are in really good nick anyway exhaust is starting to blow , better spend the money there the joys of land rovering
  22. hi , i have just bought my first rrc , i was thinking of replacing the seats for leather ones , can any one tell me if its a staight swap over and how do i get power to the electrics thanks frrfrr
  23. hi , having just driven my neighbours defender i have noticed that his gearbox is a lot easier to find the gears, mine being a bit vague. having owned and driven my landy for 3 years , i have grown acustom to were all the gears are . can anyone tell me if there is anyway to improve my gear selection. both the neighbours and my land rover has a lt77 gear box. regards frrfrr
