Hi all sorry to hi-jack the thread my 1996 3.9v8i has very similar symptoms,start it up and it's fine on cold start as soon as it drops to idle speed the revs become very irregular i.e it goes from 750 to 1100 to almost stalling but picks its self back up,how ever 9 times out of 10 if you turn it off take keys out of ignition and leave it for a minute then re-start it it is fine,i gave it a complete service about a month ago(oils,leads,dizzy cap,filters didnt do the fuel filter as mentioned in another post) and it sorted out but now the problem has returned any advice greatly appreciated,cheers danny.

Hi all,im after the part number for the fuel filter that is tucked up in o/s rear wheel arch it's for a 1996 3.9v8i disco,the one that im after is an after market one as it has two pieces of flexi hose on it allowing me to cut the fuel pipe either side of the original filter(as it has seized solid)and fit this in it's place,cheers danny.

Hi all,im in the process of swsapping over all my bumpers,lights,guards e.t.c. from my 92 200tdi to my 96 disco my question is on my 96 there is a anti roll bar at the rear is it o.k to remove this so i can fit my tank guard,i mainly use the disco off road,also if removed is it a m.o.t requirement.

Hi all im thinking about fitting a wading kit to my 1992 200tdi disco not really sure which one i require,ive fitted the snorkel so i think i may as well do the wading as well can anyone point me in the right direction of which one to get please.
