Please help, My fuel pump relay has intermittent problems, it'll go for months with no problem then suddenly it plays up every time I get in the car (which it is doing right now) when I take the relay out the terminal on the left hand side has some black burnt look about it - I put it back in and give it a wiggle, hear the fuel pump kick on then it starts, I have replaced the relay several times when it does this and each time it does the same thing where it burns slightly on the left side terminal. I am using the yellow relay - is this the correct one. My car is a 2001 TD4. Thanks. Whilst your hear if you have any suggestions i've got two other problems with it : 1) Back electric windows are not working although can hear them clicking as if they are going to move but do nothing. 2) Driver side (front and back door) central locking is not unlocking from keyfob, but will lock from keyfob. Hi, all i;m a newbie to posting on this forum but have found it useful a few times with problems i've looked up. I have a 2001 LR Freelander TD4. My current problem is : My central locking has always worked perfectly well until a couple of weeks back when suddenly my drivers door stopped opening from the keyfob but still locked from it, then just the other day the drivers side back door has gone exactly the same - so now I have all four doors will lock from the keyfob, but only the passenger side doors open from the keyfob - I have sprayed WD40 down into the lock buttons, and have changed the fuse but it is still not working. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated - thanks.
