  1. It is a sweet running V8 - was a bit chocked in the beginning because it never ran more than 80kph but now is fine. From a distance it looks like a fresh truck. The closer you get the more frayed it looks :-)
  2. Kids call the color "skygreen". The truck had one owner and a sheltered life as factory site transport and always parked under a shed so there is mostly UV damage only like perished plastic and some surface rust. The rearcrossmember is still original. Changed the radiator, adjusted the carbs, away with smog equipment, fixing some vacuum leaks, replaced the rotten plastic grills with blackpainted ss-pattern parts and fitted new tubeless rims and tires. Next will be new pattern seats - the original ones sag terribly. So far easy sailing for 10k miles and a joy to drive if a bit noisy and hot feet.
  3. Dear All I`d like to say hello. I`ve been reading the forum for a while and took the plunge to put up a post. I am owned by a 110 Pickup from 1983 and a 1970 Army Jeep M38A3. Both are daily drivers and get used in the dirt and for the occasional trip or safari. Looking forward for having a good time at LR4x4. Ollie
