Thank you in advance for your comments. I am busy putting a 3.9 V8 EFI in my Defender 90. I have an Engine and transfer case from a Disco1 and a ZF4 Autobox from a Range Rover. I believe the Transfer case I have is the LT230Q, I am not entirely sure how to verify this. My problem is that it seems that the extension shaft ( Output Shaft ) from the auto box is too long to fit into the transfer case, or the splines are too short as it reaches the end of the splines before the two meet. I need approx 10mm to close the two together. Is there an extention for the transfer/autobox or can you get a shorter extention shaft? I have searched to see if I can find a soultion but have not had any joy yet. I appreciate any input.
