In the absence of help from Land Rover I have taken the matter to hand and fabricated a insert for the tray for which to mount the Garmin mounting plate. I have added two pics to show how straight forward it is N

I spoke to the sales person at Land Rover and it seems the complete install kit, inc the Garmin sat unit is around £500. Not sure if they will / can ship the bracket separately. I have scanned the web for a pic of the Garmin bracket to no avail, are there any tame SVX owners out there willing to supply a pic N

Hi. I have a 2009 Defender XS. I am looking to mount my Garmin Nuvi in the center of the dash as Land Rover have with the SVX model. Could anybody advise of the bracket Land Rover have used to mount the Garmin (also any LR part nos if poss) Thanks N
