I did my 02 Defender 130 a year and a half ago, 2 stage remap with bigger intercooler and straighr thru exhaust, have done between 25 and 30,000 miles since and not a problem at all and I wouldn't have the lightest right foot in the world either, I'm going the whole way after christmas with the sport upgrade 215 BHP (new flywheel and clutch needed)

I rolled my td5 130 back in febuary, had it insured for €18,000. My brokers had an accessor look at it and he wrote it off straight away, he may as well be looking into a bush, all she needed was a new cab, (4 doors, roof, front and back windows.)I baught it back as salvage for €250 and got €12,900 back in my pocket So far ive spent near 8grand putting her back on the road including €1200 paint job and got a full suspension kit and unimog axles for my 110. to reinsure it they wanted a doe cert(mot)and an engineers report(he hadn't a clue either, took a couple of pics and got me to drive it 200 yards then jam on! took €180 for the pleasure!) got her reinsured with the same company for the same money with no change in premium. happy days.
