Hi all,i have a 89 2.4 td manual rr, this is what happend today tried to climb a hill at my stables, the o/s on grass and n/s on flags (paving stones),the wheels on the grass just span and i thought that with keeping the n/s on the flags it would grip and help but it didnt, all the power went to the grass side,so after trying for 3/4 hour, the only way i could get it to move was to keep pressing the foot brake at the same time as giving it some gas to put drive to the other side and in low, i know this might seem a daft thing to ask but i also have a shogun and it goes up there no problem, so i thought after watching range rovers on you tube were they go and what they do i was very surprised,if this is not normal what could the problem be,like i said it seems a daft question but thought you more experienced range rover owners might know better
