    Are you sure that is is the fuel pump. I had a sond from my car that also sounded like the pump, on closer inspection the sound was preesure in the fuel tank slowly escaping from the breather. I have the V8 petrol. Not sure if you would experience the same with a diesel

    I have a 1999 Discovery 2 V8 I would like to know if it is possible to change the bearings in the alternator? Thank You
