  1. The large speaker in the driver's door on my 2003 D2 has stopped working. There is no power getting to the speaker - will check the back of the stereo but do I have to fiddle about with the amp under the passenger's seat? All of the other speakers, big and small, work fine and have connected the passenger door large speaker to the driver's side to check it is the lack of power that is the problem. Any suggestions gratefully received!
  2. "What year did 90/110/defender first get a smooth roof??? Wheres Ralph" i think he's with Wally.
  3. not sure - will check but there is every chance it is not original...! But not sure why that belt would only cause a squeak when turning left!
  4. Thanks John - drive belt was replaced last week - along with cam belt, head gasket and p gasket! Expensive week with a new battery as well!!
  5. Wonder if anyone can advise - when I turn the steering wheel left on my Defender 110 (1996), I get a high pitched squeak - disappears as soon as I straighten up and doesn't happen when turning wheel to the right. Planning to check/replace swivel grease (with genuine LR stuff) but is this likely to get rid of my irritating squeak? Many thanks!
  6. Hi there - I have been given a set of pristine Discovery I steel wheels that I would like to fit on my 1991 Defender 110. Currently I have the original white painted steel Def. wheels fitted with Wrangler 750 R16s (nearly new and now for sale with wheels) - the Disco wheels say 16 7JH2 on them... What would be the right or best size tyres to fit - use the Defender mainly on road - and was thinking about General Grabber ATs... Thank you in advance - as you can see I know nothing about tyres except they are black and rubber!
  7. Has anyone any positive/negative feedback on this place? Am looking at buying a Defender 110 SW from them... thanks.
