My Defender still has the old glass fuses,and are driving me mad.Is it possible to change fuses board to spade fuses?..Has anyone got one?..Thanks.

Thanks,sorry a bit of a novice when it comes to 4x4's.So it would be ok to drive without the front prop?

I have a 86 defender 2.5, and the front prop shaft is knackered.I've been told that i can remove it and still drive using the rear prop only.But it does'nt go anywhere when i take it out of difflock?.It drives in high and low.....

No the smoke is consistant even when up to temp.what would cause unburnt diesel?.Bad timing?

My defender 2.5d is seriously smokey!.From start up to full revs it chucks out white smoke,which i would presume would be too much air?....are there any basics i should check.New air filter 2 weeks ago.Any pointers much appreciated...

Hello all,i have just bought a lovely landy .It's great but has a bucket load of problems!!!!.Prop shaft for one.Just wondering if any members know of a good mechanic or parts suppliers in south london?...Cheers for help and will keep novice questions down to a minimum.
